Service details and turnaround
This review is for those who are applying for a work permit on their own and would like to have their application reviewed before they submit it to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
Our Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant will provide a written review of your application. You will be required to share all of your completed application forms and supporting documents.
*The review will only be for applications and supporting documents that are in English or if the documents have been translated into English. Unfortunately, we cannot do reviews for supporting documents that are in French.
Stated review turnaround: 7–10 business days after all requested documents and information have been received.
Work Permit Review: your questions answered
The consultant reviews your completed application forms and supporting documents before you submit them to IRCC. The report identifies mistakes, missing documentation, concerns about supporting-document quality and ways to strengthen the file. It is a review of the material you prepared, rather than full application preparation on your behalf.
If you have not established the correct work-permit route or your eligibility, book a consultation first or ask us before ordering. The required employment evidence differs by application type. This review is most useful when you already have a prepared application for the route you intend to use.
Tell us what is missing before ordering, including any employer or employment documents needed for your application. IRCC provides different document instructions for different work-permit situations. The review requires your completed forms and the requested supporting material; the normal report clock begins only when all requested documents have been received.
No. Paying for a private review is not the same as submitting an application to IRCC. If expiry is close, get prompt advice about your options and tell us the date before ordering. The 7–10 business-day review period does not extend your permit or create work authorization.
No. This review service is for those who have not yet submitted their work permit application. If you have submitted an application, and it has been refused, consider the Rejected Application Review and confirm the scope before ordering. A review is not a challenge or judicial review. If a deadline or an urgent status issue is involved, seek advice promptly rather than waiting for a standard review.
The stated turnaround is 7–10 business days after all requested documents have been received. For this service, application forms and supporting documents must be in English or translated into English. Canada Abroad’s current review policy does not cover French supporting documents.
You remain responsible for making any necessary changes changes and submitting the application to IRCC unless you separately arrange representation. A paid 30-minute consultation can be booked with the consultant to discuss the report. Application submission and a follow-up call (consultation) are not included with this service.
