Service details and turnaround
This review is for those who are sponsoring their spouse or common-law partner to Canada and would like to have their application for permanent residence reviewed before they submit it to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Our Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant will provide a written review of your application. You will be required to share all of your completed application forms and supporting documents.
*The review will only be for applications and supporting documents that are in English or if the documents have been translated into English. Unfortunately, we cannot do reviews for supporting documents that are in French.
Stated review turnaround: 7–10 business days after all requested documents and information have been received.
Spousal File Review: your questions answered
Yes. This service is for completed spouse or common-law sponsorship applications before submission to IRCC. Provide the completed forms and supporting documents for review. The consultant supplies a written report on any mistakes, missing information, the quality of supporting documents, missing documents, and potential ways to strengthen the application.
Include the relationship evidence you intend to submit and explain your main concern, such as time spent apart or documents showing different addresses. The review can flag weaknesses or missing evidence in the file. There is no universal number of photos or chat pages that guarantees acceptance; use the current checklist for your circumstances.
Yes. Point out the difference and give the correct factual timeline and relevant evidence. Do not hide an inconsistency or change genuine records just to make the application look simpler. A clear explanation lets the consultant assess how the discrepancy affects the completed sponsorship file.
Book a consultation first if the main issue is eligibility or choosing a sponsorship route. The review is intended for an application you have already prepared. IRCC’s sponsorship guide sets the relationship requirements and evidence to provide; buying a review does not establish that you meet them.
This service provides a written pre-submission review. It is not full representation and does not automatically include submitting the application or handling later IRCC correspondence. Ask about a separate representation service if you want ongoing application management.
The report is normally provided within 7–10 business days after all requested documents have been received. For Canada Abroad’s review service, forms and documents must be in English or translated into English; French supporting documents are not covered by the current review policy. Check the timing before planning your submission.
If you need a discussion of the report, book a separate paid 30-minute consultation with the immigration consultant. Mention that both partners want to attend when arranging it. The review fee itself covers the written report, not an included follow-up appointment.
