Service details and turnaround
This review is for those who are applying for a study permit on their own and would like to have their application reviewed before they submit it to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
Our Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant will provide a written review of your application. You will be required to share all of your completed application forms and supporting documents.
*The review will only be for applications and supporting documents that are in English or if the documents have been translated into English. Unfortunately, we cannot do reviews for supporting documents that are in French.
Stated review turnaround: 7–10 business days after all requested documents and information have been received.
Study Permit Review: your questions answered
Include the study plan or letter of explanation you intend to submit, along with your completed forms and supporting documents. This service includes the review of your prepared application and provides written feedback on any mistakes, missing documents or information, the quality of your supporting documents, and ways to strengthen it.
Include the financial documents and explanations you plan to use, and identify the source of funding and any specific issue you want checked. Paying tuition does not, by itself, replace the rest of your required financial evidence. Use IRCC’s current study-permit document instructions and official checklist.
Before placing the order, contact us, flag what is missing, and confirm whether your prepared file is ready for review. IRCC’s requirements can depend on your situation and may change. To complete the review, completed application forms and supporting documents are required.
No. Canada Abroad’s review turnaround is separate from IRCC’s decision time. The stated written-report period is 7–10 business days after all requested documents are received. Contact us before ordering if your school or submission deadline is close; do not assume expedited review or an earlier government decision. Having your application reviewed by Canada Abroad does not speed up IRCC processing times.
If you want to understand the refusal and what may need to change, start with a Rejected Application Review. That service considers the refusal letter and the application that was submitted. Contact us if you are instead preparing a new application and need help deciding which application review is more suited to your immigration pathway.
This service supplies a written review of your completed application, rather than preparing and submitting it on your behalf to IRCC. It does not guarantee approval. Under the current service policy, documents must be in English or translated into English; French supporting documents are not covered.
A follow-up appointment is separate. You can book a paid 30-minute consultation with the immigration consultant to discuss the written findings. If you need an interactive discussion before your forms and documents are ready, consider a consultation first.
