Skilled Worker In Prince Edward Island Stream

  • Have a full-time paid job offer of at least two years in duration from an employer in Prince Edward Island;
  • Possess a valid Canadian work permit;
  • The job being offered must be skill level O, A or B;
  • Possess a minimum of a two-year post-secondary degree or diploma;
  • Be between 18 and 59 years of age;
  • Have at least two years of full-time paid work experience obtained within the past five years;
  • Have the level of English and/or French required to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of the job being offered to you;
  • Have the education/qualifications and/or licenses required to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of the job being offered to you;
  • Have sufficient settlement funds for your family size;
  • Have the genuine intention to settle in Prince Edward Island.

Critical Workers Stream

  • Have a full-time paid job offer of at least two years in duration from an employer in Prince Edward Island;
  • The job being offered must be skill level C or D;
  • Have worked for a minimum of six months (full-time and paid) for the Prince Edward Island employer offering you the position;
  • Possess a valid Canadian work permit;
  • Have a minimum of a high-school diploma;
  • Be between 18 and 59 years of age;
  • Have at least two years of full-time paid work experience or relevant education within the past five years;
  • Have sufficient settlement funds for your family size;
  • Have achieved a minimum of a CLB 4 or higher in listening, reading, writing and speaking on an approved language test;
  • Genuine intention to settle in Prince Edward Island.

International Graduate Stream

  • Have a permanent full-time paid job offer from an employer in Prince Edward Island in an O, A or B level occupation.
  • Possess a valid post-graduate work permit.
  • Possess a valid post-secondary diploma/degree from a publicly-funded PEI post-secondary institution;
  • Be between 18 and 59years of age;
  • Possess the required level of English and/or French to perform the roles and responsibilities of the position being offered to you.
  • Have the genuine intention to settle in Prince Edward Island;
  • Have sufficient settlement funds for their family size;
  • Are able to attend an interview with staff from the Prince Edward Island Office, if required.

Express Entry Stream

  • Have a valid Express Entry Profile and Job Seeker Code;
  • Submit an Expression of Interest;
  • Priority will be given to applicants that are living and working in Prince Edward Island.
