Express Entry Score Drops by 19 Points

Express Entry Draw for November 15th, 2017

On November 15th, 2017 Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada handed out 2,750 Invitations to Apply through the Express Entry system. Those with a score of 439 or higher were issued with an Invitation to Apply. This draw saw the required score drop by 19 points. This draw included applicants classified as Federal Skilled Workers, Federal Skilled Tradespeople, members of the Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nominees.

The previous Express Entry draws for 2017 have been as follows:

  • January 11th, 2017 – 3,334 invitations – Minimum score of 459
  • January 25th, 2017 – 3,508 invitations – Minimum score of 453

  • February 22nd, 2017 – 3,611 invitations – Minimum score of 441
  • March 1st, 2017 – 3,884 invitations – Minimum score of 434
  • March 24th, 2017 – 3,749 invitations – Minimum score of 441
  • April 5th, 2017 – 3,753 invitations – Minimum score of 431
  • April 12th, 2017 – 3,923 invitations – Minimum score of 423
  • April 19th, 2017 – 3,665 invitations – Minimum score of 415
  • May 4th, 2017 – 3,796 invitations – Minimum score of 423
  • May 17th, 2017 – 3,687 invitations – Minimum score of 415
  • May 26th, 2017 – 153 invitations – Minimum score of 775 – this draw was for Provincial Nominees only
  • May 26th, 2017 – 400 invitations – Minimum score 199 – this draw was for the Federal Skilled Trades program only
  • May 31st, 2017 – 3,877 invitations – Minimum score of 413 points
  • June 28th, 2017 – 3,409 invitations – Minimum score of 449 points
  • July 12th, 2017 – 3,202 invitations – Minimum score of 440 points
  • August 2nd, 2017 – 3,264 invitations – Minimum score of 441 points
