- Your ideal age would be under 35, but you can earn points up until the age of 44
- Do you have any higher education?
- You would ideally have one year of post secondary education or more (more than high school Diploma alone)
- Are you fluent in English?
- You would ideally be highly proficient in English (reading/writing/speaking/listening)
- Do you have any work experience?
- You would ideally have more than three years of full time work experience in a qualifying occupation
- Do you meet the criteria for one of the four eligible categories?
- Federal Skilled Worker
- Federal Skilled Trades
- Canadian Experience Class
- Provincial Nominee
- Do you have a Criminal Record?
- Do you have a serious medical condition?
- Do you have enough money to pay all required government fees?
